ビート・プログラミング／ミックスは、北里がメロディや作詞で参加した「99 Steps (feat. Kohjiya, Hana Hope)」がヒットした盟友のSTUTSが手掛けており、北里自身のライブに加え、STUTSのステージでも度々披露されている。
じわじわと話題を集めている「April Child」を新作「The Crying Xpress」をリリースしたばかりのLe Makeupがミニマルで多幸感溢れるリミックスを作成。名曲に新たな息吹を吹き込んでいる。
マスタリングは、木村健太郎（Kimken Studio）。アートワークは、Kazuhiko Fujita (Marfa by Kazuhiko Fujita)が担当している。

“April Child” is a masterpiece of home-recorded R&B by Akihisa Kitazato, a song that celebrates “the changing seasons = Life.” While the polyrhythms of the acoustic guitar and the sound of the kalimba evoke Africa, the track also exudes an urban groove.
The beat programming and mixing were handled by STUTS, a close collaborator whose track “99 Steps (feat. Kohjiya, Hana Hope)”—on which Kitazato contributed the melody and lyrics—became a hit. The song is frequently performed not only at Kitazato’s own live shows but also on STUTS’s stage.
Le Makeup, who just released his new album “The Crying Xpress”, has created a minimal, euphoric remix of “April Child,” a track that’s been steadily gaining traction. He has breathed new life into this classic track.
Mastering was handled by Kentaro Kimura (Kimken Studio). The artwork was created by Kazuhiko Fujita (Marfa by Kazuhiko Fujita).

関西学院大学在学中に作曲へと本格的に取り組みはじめ、以降国内外の様々なレーベルから作品を発表する。2020年にアルバム「微熱」をリリース。
中国・韓国・オランダ・デンマーク・ドイツでもパフォーマンスを行う。
2023年2月にDove、gummyboy、JUMADIBA、Tohji、環Royが参加したアルバム「Odorata」をリリース。Pitchforkで取り上げられるなど話題となった。
2024年5月にオノ セイゲンがマスタリング・エンジニアとして参加したアルバム「予感」をリリース。東京・大阪で初のワンマン公演「予感」を行った。
2026年にニューアルバム「The Crying Xpress」を4月29日にリリース。

Began seriously pursuing composition while attending Kwansei Gakuin University, subsequently releasing works on various domestic and international labels. Released the album “Binetsu” in 2020.
Has performed in China, South Korea, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Germany.
In February 2023, released the album ‘Odorata’ featuring contributions from Dove, gummyboy, JUMADIBA, Tohji, and Tamaki Roy. It garnered attention, including coverage by Pitchfork.
In May 2024, released the album ‘Premonition’ with Seigen Ono participating as mastering engineer. Held his first solo concerts, titled ‘Premonition’, in Tokyo and Osaka.
New album “The Crying Xpress” will be released on April 29, 2026.
