An electric guitar-driven album, ‘STARBERRY DAYS’ is released today. created through the concept of ‘one-man multi-tracking’ – crafting a band-like sound solo – entirely performed live, influenced by numerous revered guitar heroes.
A vintage power pop work where distorted, noisy guitars coexist with good melodies and harmonies.

Merchant
埼玉県本庄市けや木2丁目にあるStudio Digを拠点に「Todd Rundgren」や「Paul McCartney」などの制作スタイルに感銘を受け、ギター以外の楽器も打ち込み等ではなく生楽器の演奏で、スタジオ・宅録など環境問わず一人でバンド・フィーリング溢れるサウンドを作る「一人多重録音」をコンセプトに、2023年頃からMerchantとしての活動をスタート。2024年にファースト・アルバム「Dolphin Sane」をリリース。ライブではソロ・弾き語りの他、井上真也、大塚薫平（生活の設計）らを加えたトリオ・バンド編成で活動している。
また、Hedigan's、Gliderのギタリストとして活動しているほか、自身のインディ・レーベルKEYAKI RECORDSを運営している。好きなギタリストは、Les Paul。
Based at Studio Dig in Keyaki 2-chome, Honjō City, Saitama Prefecture, and inspired by the production styles of artists such as Todd Rundgren and Paul McCartney, Merchant commenced activities around 2023. The concept centres on “one-man multi-track recording”, creating band-feel sounds solo regardless of environment—be it studio or home recording—using live instrumentation rather than programming for all instruments except guitar. Released his first album, ‘Dolphin Sane’, in 2024. For live performances, he performs as a solo singer-songwriter and also in a trio band formation featuring Shinya Inoue and Kahei Otsuka (Seikatsu no Sekkei).
Additionally, he is active as a guitarist for Hedigan's and Glider, and runs his own independent label, KEYAKI RECORDS. His favourite guitarist is Les Paul.
